THIS WATCH This Ladies' Royal Oak is in excellent condition with the original case finish, perfect dial and hands and the original quartz movement with a new battery. The 6010BA is the 18ct carat gold model which is normally found with a matching 18ct gold Royal Oak bracelet, but this example has a crocodile strap which has been custom-made by Audemars Piguet to fit this case. It is conjectural as to whether it was originally sold with this strap or with a gold bracelet which was subsequently replaced by the present strap. AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK 6010 The Audemars Piguet Reference 6010 is a highly distinctive, vintage timepiece from the late 1970s and 1980s. It belongs to a unique family of rectangular and cushion-shaped quartz models released during the height of the quartz period In Audemars Piguet's historical watch numbering, the "B-Series" case stamping signifies that the watch case was manufactured and serialized roughly between 1976 and 1984. This places a B-Series Ref. 6010 at the very beginning of this model's production run, making it a true early-vintage piece. |
